Heron Hill House has a panoramic oceanfront view with a gorgeous beach, 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, two kitchens, central air conditioning, king-sized beds, gourmet kitchen with all new appliances, satellite dish, large screen HDTV, telephones, a CD player, DVD, VCR in each bedroom, library with books, CDs, videotapes, games, telescope, patio with table, chairs, hammock, and barbeque grill.
The island is peaceful and quiet and it is unusual to see other people on the beaches. The Bahamian people are one of the islands best assets and you will find them unusually helpful. Although the island is tranquil, there are many activities.

Do you like to fish? You can fish from shore or you can charter a boat in Hatchet Bay like the folks in the picture below.

You say you can’t tell how wide the beach is?  Check out the shot below.  Also, see that dark spot in the water just to the right of the man’s head? That’s a coral reef just waiting to be explored, so bring your mask and flippers!

The grounds are a five-acre palm estate and are conducive to walking around enjoying all the beauty nature has to offer.

Restaurants

There are many nice restaurants on Eleuthera.  For example:
Unique Village is located just down the beach from Heron Hill, has a nice restaurant, and also offers charter fishing.
Mate and Jenny's Pizza Restaurant and Bar is located at South Palmetto Point and offers a unique menu that includes grouper and crawfish (Bahamian lobster) (subject to availability), steak, conch, and sandwiches and full dinners.
Rainbow Inn’s Seaside Bar and Restaurant serves fantastic native and continental dishes and features the largest menu on Eleuthera.
Dolcevita means “Good Life” and the restaurant is a new Italian restaurant located in Runaway Bay South Palmetto Point.
Tippy’s is located two miles north of Heron Hill.
